As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Serving over 90,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including, emergency care, and orthopedics. Additionally, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital has been recognized as an LGBTQ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, and has the only inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Center between Salinas and Santa Barbara.
Pay Range
$24.00 - $26.69 /hour

- Accepts work delegated by the charge person.
- Prioritizes and adjusts work load to accomplish patient care activities while meeting patient needs.
- Communicates effectively with team members to keep them informed of changes in patient condition.
- Seeks assistance in handling difficult/stressful work situations.
- Applies established protocols in the assessment and care of: patients at risk for falls; patients with pressure ulcers, patients with infection, patients with seizure disorders, patients unable to perform ADLs.
- Promptly answers patient call lights, whether that of assigned patient or not, assesses patient needs, and checks on patients regularly, making frequent rounds.
