Looking to launch or advance your career in Human Resources? We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. HR Admin/Coordinator to join a our passionate client team supporting a meaningful mission—helping homeless and trafficked youth find safety, support, and hope.
This is a fantastic on-site opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, offering up to 25 hours per week for a 3-month contract. You'll gain hands-on experience in HR administration, onboarding, recordkeeping, and supporting a dynamic nonprofit environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in an office administrative role; prior internships or exposure to an HR environment is a major plus.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, ADP) or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an advantage but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Discretion: An absolute understanding of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive personal data with integrity.
- Organization: Exceptional time-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
