Job Title:Registered Nurse, RN (Coordinator)
Home Office:Golconda, IL
Area of Focus:Developmental Services
Program(s):Developmental Services Provides nursing oversight, clinical
care, and program support toindividuals with developmental
and/orintellectual disabilities, ensuring compliance with DHS Rule 116
and other applicable federal and state regulations.
Immediate Supervisor:Senior Director of Developmental Services
Supervises:None
RN Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
supervision to personsinother programs as necessary.
Supervises medication administration operations and activitiesinall
programs (ensures MARs current & accurate) with medication changes.
Changes and signs MARs monthly. Checks MARS and signs after month
complete.
Submits nursing med errors as required and quarterly report to
Safety Committee.
Keeps Developmental Services Division Directorinformed regarding
programmatic successes and problems.
Will assist with medical appointments as needed and maintain a good
working relationship with physician appointments to maintain
continuity of care.
Ability to screen, assess and provideinterventions for consumers
that are exhibiting symptoms of trauma.
Must be able to write, implement and train staff on
behaviorintervention programs as writtenineachindividuals plan.
Completes nursing assessments (SAMA and HRIST),
administersinjections, and coordinates medications and/or medical
needs of consumers.
Will assistinrunning of medical appointments and will
assistinmonitoringindividuals medication availability.
Monitorsand documents thatindividuals maintain and obtain their
optimal level of health.
