Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a manufacturing company find a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Manager in the Toledo area. This role will lead all EHS strategy, compliance, and performance of the site. This role oversees environmental programs, safety initiatives, industrial hygiene, and occupational health while driving continuous improvement and ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
Duties
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary EHS team.
- Direct sitewide EHS programs, policies, and compliance efforts across a multi‑unit industrial campus.
- Manage environmental programs including ISO 14001, air/water permitting, hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater, and RCRA corrective action.
- Oversee OSHA compliance in areas such as airborne hazards, machine guarding, PPE, LOTO, confined space, radiation, and chemical safety.
- Lead the Emergency Response Team and oversee wastewater treatment operations.
- Partner with site leadership to reduce risk, improve safety culture, and support ESG‑related EHS initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with employees, regulators, community partners, and emergency responders.
- Manage EHS budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Occupational Health, Engineering, Sciences, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- CSP and/or CIH preferred.
- 15 years of EHS leadership experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, Title V permitting, NPDES, hazardous waste, and industrial hygiene.
- Experience with RCRA corrective action and airborne pollutants exposure assessment preferred.
Salary : $125,000 - $165,000
