Warehouse Manager

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee the shipping process
• Oversee the product location process
• Oversee the product pulling process
• Oversee the order shipping process
• Oversee the S&S delivery process
• Evaluation of team members performance
• Compliance of all warehouse safety procedures
• Oversee team member scheduling and attendance
• Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment
• Managing the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies

Role Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operational management
• Warehousing process management
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to pass drug test and background checks

• Excellent managerial, organizational skills and decision-making abilities
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with effective team building capabilities
• Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
• Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and gloves. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures. Industrial lighting provided. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal but can be greater when using equipment.
