Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler with 2–5 years of experience in drafting and modeling telecommunications or electrical systems. This role focuses on hands-on drafting and modeling and is not a BIM Coordinator position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for project deliverables.
- Prepare detailed drawings for one or more of the following systems:
- Data/Voice structured cabling systems
- Audiovisual presentation and conferencing systems
- Wireless systems (Wi-Fi)
- Public safety distribution systems
- Access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems
- Utilize Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for modeling and drafting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and construction stakeholders.
- Ensure coordination and understanding of interdependencies among various disciplines.
- Manage multiple project assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain high accuracy with strong attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Work independently and within team environments across different project phases.
- Support both local and remote projects across the organization.
- Travel occasionally based on project requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in telecommunications or electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk tools:
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
- Strong drafting and modeling expertise.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Revizto is a plus.
