Position Description
The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the successful implementation and management of Clinet's services (applications) in production environments. This role provides Level II support to ensure services meet quality, security, and compliance standards, while maintaining documentation for ongoing support and system maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Work in shifts to provide 24x7 application support across multiple Client's applications.
- Apply operational break-fixes and proactive maintenance activities to keep services running smoothly.
- Leverage database experience with advanced SQL skills.
- Evaluate issues reported by Client's internal users and clients, delivering ongoing solutions.
- Own specific production problems and coordinate actively between internal teams and external vendor support groups to resolve them.
- Determine configuration and operational requirements for the development team.
- Participate in root cause analysis for service failures and support escalations.
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and stable web applications and/or backend services using .NET with C#.
- Develop client-side applications that connect with web services.
- Develop backend web services.
- Ensure the highest standards for security best practices in all development, applying principles of software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability.
- Partner closely with the security team for code analysis and design reviews, using .NET Framework, .NET Core, package management, and dependency injection.
- Perform unit testing; process bug reports and release fixes; and participate in code reviews and Agile processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
