Packaging Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Location: Monroe, NJ

The Packaging Supervisor leads and oversees all second-shift packaging operations, ensuring products are filled, packaged, and prepared for distribution safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company quality standards. This role is responsible for driving production performance, leading team members, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop packaging team members to meet production goals and company objectives
• Communicate effectively with a bilingual (English/Spanish) workforce to ensure clear direction and understanding on the production floor
• Monitor daily operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently achieved
• Oversee machine operations and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Track and document production output, labor performance, and key metrics
• Hold team members accountable to performance expectations, including administering corrective action when needed
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE at all times
• Enforce compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and all food safety and quality standards
• Review and execute daily production schedules, adjusting staffing and priorities as needed
• Partner with Maintenance to quickly resolve equipment issues and maintain operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Inventory/Materials teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in USA
• Must have clear background
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong understanding of packaging operations and production workflows
• Proven ability to lead teams, delegate effectively, and manage competing priorities
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/data systems

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
