Our client is a leading specialty insurance provider focusing on coverage for unique and unconventional risks. It offers tailored solutions beyond standard markets and combines technical expertise with a commitment to responsible corporate citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements including footnotes to financial statements and other disclosures
- Prepare and review of financial reports and filings with the SEC and other regulatory bodies
- Prepare and review annual subsidiary-level financial statements and related audit support
- Assist with the preparation and review of internal and external audit requests
- Assist with earnings releases and other external communications
- Participate in research pertaining to US GAAP and SEC regulatory requirements
- Prepare reports and materials for distribution to executive management
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3-5 years of experience at a public accounting firm and/or at a publicly traded firm
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and internal controls
- CPA required
- Experience with general ledger/consolidations software’s
- Experience with business intelligence tools
