Our client is a real estate development company specializing in unique, community-driven residential buildings with a portfolio spanning throughout the US.
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform month-end close process including preparation of financial reporting packages and commentary to owners/partners
- Preparation, validation, and tracking of detailed quarterly portfolio metrics around valuations, operations, and performance multifamily real estate portfolio
- Compile and analyze detailed budget variance reports, income, expense, capital expenditures, leasing costs, NOI, cash flow, and quarterly forecasts
- Assist in revenue management and budgeting through data mining and system generated analysis
- Preparation of annual property budgets and business plans
- Oversee and follow-up with property management regarding resident ledgers, account receivable resident aging, and gross potential revenue report/vacancy rent posting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-3 years of related accounting experience
- Knowledge of real estate and residential accounting
- Proficiency with Excel
- GAAP reporting experience
- Tax and IFRS reporting experience a plus
