Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model, allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies.
Responsibilities
- Review the monthly books and records including financial statements, regulatory filings, net capital requirements, and other ongoing deliverables
- Oversee the financial aspects of a registered Futures Clearing Merchant
- Ensure compliance with net capital requirements of the FCM
- Perform financial analysis for various needs including budgeting and forecasting of business results and respond to inquiries both internally and externally
- Manage and prepare the firm’s annual US GAAP audited financial statement and liaise with external auditors on audit and US GAAP related matters
- Ensure all required month-end reconciliations are performed and reviewed
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10-12 years of related experience
- Experience within financial services required
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for a Futures Clearing Merchant
- Experience with the rules and requirements for an FCM
- Experience managing and handling regulatory examinations and interacting with regulators
- CPA preferred
- Series 27 or Series 28 preferred
