Our client is an alternative asset manager using fixed-income relative value and macro trends for its investors. The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for the AP process for multiple offices both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices and payment requests
- Maintain billing mailboxes for each office
- Review aged‐payables and follow up
- Enter credit card transaction details and support with the monthly reconciliation process
- Administer the contract onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes in the company’s contract management system
- Assist with vendor due diligence by collecting W‐9 forms and payment instructions
- Assist with the annual 1099 filing preparation
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes
- Coordinate with vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies with our accounts as they arise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-5 years of AP experience
- Proficient experience with Workday FINS
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
