Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Wholesale Produce Sales Representative to grow our customer base through door-to-door sales efforts. This role is primarily field-based and requires strong sales skills, a solid understanding of fresh produce, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. The ideal candidate is self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with the sales team.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct door-to-door sales to restaurants, grocery stores, markets, and other wholesale produce buyersIdentify and develop new customer accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clientsPresent and sell a variety of fresh produce products, clearly explaining quality, availability, and pricingGenerate, track, and follow up on sales leadsRegularly check in with management and attend in-office meetings to review leads, performance, and sales strategiesMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and feedbackStay informed on seasonal produce, market trends, and customer needsRepresent the company professionally at all times in the fieldQualificationsProven experience in sales, preferably in wholesale, food service, or produce-related industriesStrong knowledge of fresh produce, including varieties, seasons, and quality standardsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based roleReliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s licenseStrong organizational and time-management skillsWork EnvironmentPrimarily field-based with significant time spent visiting prospective and existing customersPeriodic in-office check-ins and meetings to review leads and sales activityCompensationCompensation structure based on experience and performance (details discussed during the interview process)
