Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for acquiring the most qualified employees to meet the staffing needs for all Arrow Electric locations. This position works closely with the Director of HR on determining best recruiting strategies, forecasting staffing needs, customizing skills, and testing requirements and implementing high quality interviewing selection techniques. This position will also assist with various other Human Resources duties as needed.
· Work closely with HR Director for all open positions.
· Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms and career boards.
· Use and develop various methods to reach applicants after they applied to phone screen and review their resumes.
· Communicate with all applicants in the stage of their application/interview process. (Phone screens and scheduling interviews for the manager and HR Director to attend)
· Research and attend job fairs and hiring events at multiple location sites.
· Serve as a brand ambassador and creating the culture at various events like career fairs or on-campus recruit events at local universities and trade schools.
· Build relationships with local trade schools and other avenues to promote AEI’s apprenticeship program.
· Travel to other locations when needed for recruitment needs. (Florida)
· Ensure application paperwork is accurate to avoid any errors. Uploading application and other necessary paperwork needed.
· Revise and create job descriptions when needed.
· Handle and track AEI employee referrals or sign on bonuses.
· Coordinate The HR directors and hiring managers schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and communicate with candidates interview details.
· Provide feedback to HR Director about details regarding applications.
· Communicate and track temporary manpower needs with recruitment agencies.
· Submit timecard hours to recruitment agencies every week.
· Meet with Director of HR to discuss new hires and assist with other duties as needed.
· Attending weekly manpower meetings and communicate jobsite assignments to the employees.
· Create marketing material needed to attract talent and engage current employees.
· Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma and 5 years of recruiting experience. Further education is preferred.
Education or expierence in the electrical industry to understand job needs for all department levels.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and working remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm; overtime may be necessary
