Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Prepare and review proposals, budgets, schedules, and quality management plans.
- Coordinate project tasks by aligning team member skills with project needs.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across disciplines.
- Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Follow ARRO’s Technical Policies and Procedures for effective quality management.
- Provide technical contributions to support successful project completion.
- Attend and participate in client meetings; present project updates and status reports.
- Keep clients fully informed of project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Maintain strong, positive client relationships to support ongoing and future work.
- Meet with prospective clients to discuss potential engineering opportunities.
- Initiate billing processes and review/approve all invoices prior to client submittal.
- Advise senior management on significant project expenditures.
- Take the lead in collecting delinquent accounts.
- Participate in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with internal review procedures.
- Serve as Technical Proposal Manager when assigned, overseeing proposal quality and schedule.
- Promote a collaborative, positive team environment and encourage staff engagement.
- Communicate staffing needs, performance, and capability updates to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or architecture.
- 6 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage people, budgets, schedules, and clients.
- Strong technical knowledge and leadership abilities, as determined by senior management.
- Professional licensure is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to support marketing and business development initiatives.
- Effective leadership in guiding project teams toward successful outcomes.
- Strong client service mindset with proven ability to maintain long-term relationships.
- Skilled in problem-solving with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to visit and move around project sites to observe progress and client needs.
- Ability to lift to 10 pounds regularly and occasional medium work up to 50 pounds (e.g., moving exhibits/boxes).
- Proficiency in using computers and general office equipment.
- Moderate office noise level; requires close visual acuity for reading, data analysis, and computer use.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
