Project Manager (ESRA PM) Remote
Contract-to-Hire | 6 Months
Location: Remote (Client based in Seattle, WA)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (ESRA PM) to lead complex, customer-facing technology implementations for a large-scale utility-focused program. This is a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting the SCL program, working closely with cross-functional teams, system integrators, and utility stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership experience in utility, energy, or infrastructure environments, with a proven ability to manage multi-vendor implementations and enterprise system integrations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology implementation projects
- Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure operational readiness and successful customer-facing system deployments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, sponsors, and delivery partners
- Hold third-party vendors accountable for deliverables and performance
- Support system integrations involving enterprise platforms and operational systems
- 7 years of Project Management experience delivering complex, customer-facing technology implementations
- Experience within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sector, with strong understanding of utility operations and stakeholder environments
- Proven experience managing multi-vendor and system integrator-led implementations
- Hands-on experience with projects involving significant system integration (e.g., WAM, GIS, CRM, customer billing, or similar enterprise platforms)
- PMP certification or equivalent credential (or demonstrated equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills
- Direct experience with electric service request, permitting, or interconnection workflows
- Familiarity with platforms such as Accela, PowerClerk, GridUnity, or similar intake/workflow tools
- Experience delivering customer-facing utility applications, including self-service portals or service request systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- This role is 100% remote, supporting a client based in the Seattle, WA area
