Knowledgeable and skilled: Truck drivers must have a good understanding of truck maintenance and repair, as well as route planning and navigation. They must also be able to communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders.
Be proactive in identifying and resolving problems: Truck drivers should be able to think critically and solve problems on their own. They should also be able to communicate any problems they encounter to their dispatchers or other team members promptly.
Be flexible and adaptable: The manufacturing industry is constantly changing, and truck drivers need to be able to adapt to change. They may be asked to deliver to new locations, haul new types of cargo, or work different hours.

specific project or jobsite.
Perform other duties when necessary.
Be willing to travel on short notice.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have good reflexes, strength, and range of motion in arms and legs
- Be able to walk 20 minutes a day without exertion.
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Enter and exit vehicle by stepping or kneeling.
- Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects if required.
- Follow specific guidelines determined by the federal Department of Transportation
