SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation quoting and serve as a key point of contact for customers. This role blends operational execution with customer communication, ensuring shipments are priced accurately and handled efficiently from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare accurate and timely transportation quotes (LTL, FTL as applicable)
- Communicate directly with customers to understand shipping needs and timelines
- Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performance
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teams
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity with approved transportation partners
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues
- Maintain accurate records in NetSuite
- Provide updates, reports, and shipment visibility to customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain - preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
