Schedule

This position offers a 12-hour evening shift with variable start times ranging from 9 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Friday. The role requires a commitment of 36 hours per week on a rotating schedule.

The Montefiore RN/PACU is responsible for maintaining high nursing practice standards, in alignment with the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics and Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice. The Registered Nurse actualizes the vision and mission of the medical center by contributing to performance improvement and research activities and upholding professional nursing standards and clinical expertise.

• Provide comprehensive care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients.


• Coordinate and implement nursing care using evidence-based practices.


• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competencies.


• Demonstrate leadership skills in daily nursing duties and unit operations.

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License or valid practicing permit.


• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BS/BSN) preferred.


• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience, with critical care experience highly desirable.


• BLS Certification required.
