Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Tele Stepdown Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required.

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Cardiac/Tele Stepdown Unit, focusing on a variety of cardiac conditions and post-operative patients. The nurse must be skilled in managing patients requiring telemetry monitoring and administering titratable intravenous drips.

• Monitor and assess patient health status and respond appropriately.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Manage and titrate intravenous drips, including but not limited to Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin.


• Provide education to patients and families regarding their health conditions.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC system.

• Current RN license required.


• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.


• Experience in cardiac nursing and telemetry monitoring is preferred.


• Must be able to independently titrate drips.
