Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Technician to join our team. This role involves providing direct care for patients undergoing diagnostic, intervention, and emergency Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The technician may also be required to cover the holding area and/or EP Lab. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab and hold relevant certifications.

• Assist in various Cardiac Cath procedures as a scrub technician, circulator, or monitor.


• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.


• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and participate in patient assessments.


• Utilize Xper (Wit) and EPIC charting systems as needed.


• Complete required orientation assessments with acceptable scores.

This position offers a day shift schedule, consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Ohio

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.


• Active Ohio license or active compact state license required.


• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.


• NIHSS certification is required.
