Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with diverse healthcare needs, including those requiring post-acute, outpatient, or sub-acute care. Ideal candidates will have experience working in various healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospitals, or clinics, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive impact through in-home assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to medical appointments
- Follow care plans accurately and document observations regarding client health and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care for clients with complex medical needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols during service delivery
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, or Post-acute care environments is highly preferred
- Experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, outpatient clinics, or teaching hospitals is advantageous
- Strong understanding of patient care procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and sub-acute care settings
- Ability to work independently in a home environment while maintaining professional standards
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for client visits
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all health screening requirements
- Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus but not mandatory
