Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and monitor health status as directed by healthcare plans
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs and progress
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans meticulously
- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client condition promptly
Experience
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine or emergency medicine settings is preferred
- Experience in geriatrics, medical-surgical, inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care environments is highly desirable
- Background working in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers adds valuable expertise
- Experience with PICU or OR settings is advantageous
- Teaching hospital experience or post-acute care background is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care in a home setting is essential
- Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus
