Weekend Behavioral Health Counselor

The Opportunity

If you're a licensed clinician looking to make a focused weekend commitment, this role is worth a look. We're hiring a Weekend Behavioral Health Counselor to provide addiction treatment services across our PHP and IOP programs. You'll carry a real caseload, work within an interdisciplinary team, and directly shape client outcomes — this isn't a support role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care under Ohio Medicaid guidelines
• Build and maintain individualized treatment plans aligned with Medicaid and facility requirements
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
• Track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinical needs evolve
• Educate clients on addiction, recovery strategies, and relapse prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and support staff for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with Ohio Medicaid and facility policy
  
  
  

Credentials & Experience

• Active Ohio licensure required: LPC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II, LCDC III, or LICDC
• Minimum 1 year of experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health
• Familiarity with Ohio Medicaid guidelines and documentation standards
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills for substance use disorders
• Comfortable working across diverse populations with cultural sensitivity
