Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to operate various types of vehicles for transportation, delivery, and logistical support. The ideal candidate will possess a valid non-commercial driver’s license and demonstrate excellent driving skills, safety awareness, and communication abilities. This role involves transporting goods or passengers efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse vehicle types, including box trucks, flatbeds, and shuttle buses.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, flatbeds, and other non-commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload cargo or passengers efficiently while ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow designated routes and schedules accurately, maintaining timely deliveries or pickups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operation.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
Skills
- Valid non-commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, delivery operations, or similar roles involving heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to trucks, buses, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other industrial vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and handle different types of heavy equipment such as dump trucks or tractor-trailers.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and customers.
- Physical ability to load & unload cargo safely and perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or logistics environments is advantageous.
- Ability to follow routes accurately and adapt to changing schedules or conditions efficiently. This role provides an essential service within our operations by ensuring safe transportation of goods or passengers while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Pay: $300.00 - $450.00 per day
