Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an experienced Director of HR to support a wide range of people operations functions across the organization. This role is responsible for payroll administration, benefits coordination, HR compliance, employee support, and maintaining accurate records and processes that help ensure the company operates efficiently and in alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and review payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and ongoing employee support.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll and benefits questions from employees and managers.
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Help manage HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
- Track leave administration, including PTO, FMLA, and other time-off programs as applicable.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders on payroll, benefits, and HR matters.
- Monitor deadlines and reporting requirements related to HR compliance and benefits administration.
- Support audits, records reviews, and internal process improvements.
- Provide general HR support across recruiting, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits administration, or a related administrative role.
- Working knowledge of payroll practices, employee benefits, and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR rules and regulations, and confidentiality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
