Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Collections Specialist for a temp-to-permanent full-time role in Hot Springs Village, AR with a well-rounded accounting team. This position is responsible for managing collections activity, supporting customer service needs, and maintaining accurate delinquency records in a professional, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer account follow-up and collections activity.
- Communicate with customers regarding account balances, billing questions, and payment status.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, contacts, and payment history.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns related to billing and account discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute routine reports related to accounts and delinquency status.
- Coordinate with internal departments as needed to support account resolution.
- Process payments and make appropriate account updates.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections required.
- Strong customer service and phone skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in difficult situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and experience managing data records.
- Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
