What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Arkansas Talent Group?
Arkansas Talent Group seeks an experienced payroll specialist to join a large thriving organization! The payroll specialist will report to the payroll manager and support payroll for 800 employees in multiple locations and states. Job Duties:
- Assist the payroll manager with processing over 800 employees in ADP
- Data entry and reconciling payroll weekly
- Making changes to payroll as needed
- Wage garnishments
- Tax compliance/understanding of the filing requirements for local, city and municipal taxes
- Audit and reporting
- Conpliance
- Assist with monthly financial statements
- Point of contact for employees and leadership with payroll needs and discrepancies
- Special Projects as needed by the Payroll Manager
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience processing payroll with 350 or more employees
- Experience processing multiple sites/states
- Payroll tax, reporting, and compliance experience
- Experience with ADP highly desirable
