What You'll Do
Support Patients with Financial Guidance
- Communicate directly with patients regarding account balances and payment options
- Explain insurance coverage, billing processes, and out-of-pocket costs
- Serve as a resource for financial assistance programs and applications
- Review, monitor, and document patient account activity accurately
- Respond to complex billing and account inquiries
- Evaluate accounts prior to bad debt placement
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Use systems and tools to assess patient financial responsibility and ability to pay
- Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-focused service
- Build positive relationships with patients while resolving concerns
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
- Contribute ideas to enhance the overall patient financial experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of experience in medical billing, collections, financial counseling, or related field
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with multiple systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently

- Location: Onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas
