The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives & EPMO role is responsible for supporting the development of Arhaus' organizational strategy. This role will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, ensuring strategic alignment of projects, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to support organizational strategy, including review of market research reports, competitor analysis data, and feedback from key stakeholders
- Develop actionable strategies aimed at fostering strategic growth in partnership w/ VP Strategic Initiatives & EPMO
- Support the planning and implementation of strategic recommendations and projects
- Monitoring and reporting on strategic initiatives
- Work with stakeholders to align goals, processes, and resource allocation with strategic initiatives
- Enforce project management methodologies, standards, and best practices when leading enterprise-wide projects
- Monitor project progress, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with projects, ensuring proactive management of project challenges
- Communicate project risks and opportunities
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Prepare for and lead Project and Steering Committee meetings
- Complete required project status update documents
- Manage and report on project budget, inclusive of potential overages
Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:
- Experience in strategic projects, involving market analysis, business strategy development, and implementation

- Knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, Retail Merchandising, or a related field
- MBA, a plus
- Strategic consulting experience, a plus
- Deep knowledge of Retail environments; understanding of business and technology concepts
- Experience and knowledge of implementable project management methodologies, principles, and tools
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Ability to establish strong relationships and liaise with business partners to provide solutions to meet their needs
- Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to articulate messages to a wide variety of audiences
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal
- Highly motivated team player and self-starter
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and/or Access)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "today not tomorrow" mentality

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
