Fabrication Foreman

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fabrication department making sure that all projects are completed on time and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include mentoring and training employees, troubleshooting issues, and working with other departments to help ensure smooth workflow and excellent communication.
Maintaining and enforcing safety requirements and procedures within the workplace is critical.
Monitor and maximize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Schedule individuals daily work and be involved in fabrication and weld inspection.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have proven fabrication background in a job shop environment with supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of steel fabricating techniques, welding, equipment, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
Familiar with AWS D1.1 Welding Code.
Committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Skilled in using relevant software and tools for planning and reporting.
Meticulous attention to detail for accurate fabrication and quality control.

This is a salaried position with estimated hours of 6:00am-4:00pm. Some Saturdays when the shop is on OT.
