Argus is seeking an experienced Staff Controls & Integration Engineer I to join our team of innovators. Are you a Controls / Integration / Automation Engineer ready to take on complex, high-impact projects that keep critical fueling infrastructure running safely and efficiently? Join our Controls & Integration team and help power critical fueling systems for airports, the U.S. Military, and railroads. In this hands-on role, you’ll use your experience with electrical and control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA to design, program, commission, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation systems. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept and installation to deployment and ongoing support.
What You’ll Do

Understanding and working knowledge of field instrumentation and automation platforms including PLC, HMI, SCADA, historians, and industrial networks.

Collaborate with the senior Controls Integration Staff Engineers, Controls Integration Manager and project team to implement and support control system from design, execution, commissioning and ongoing support.

Own and lead small projects or portions of larger projects including developing PLC logic and HMI systems, network layout and required documentation.

Participate in review and acceptance of programming and projects through FAT/SAT’s.

Conduct system programming, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, both in-house and at client sites.

Deliver technical support and field service for installed control systems and respond to client emergency calls.

Comply with industry codes, safety standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

Adapt quickly to new technologies and apply learned concepts to system implementation.
What We’re Looking For
-
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronics & Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

3 years in controls engineering, automation, or industrial system integration.

PLC programming experience with major platforms (Allen Bradley, GE, Modicon 580/EcoStructure).

HMI/Scada experience with (Inductive Automation, FactoryTalk, Wonderware).

Networking knowledge as it pertains to plant floor/field automation control systems.

Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office products.

Database experience is a plus (SQL, DB2 etc).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning
