KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform design and layout tasks for fuel systems and site infrastructure, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare and review designs, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design efforts and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, data, and correspondence.
- Participate in internal QA/QC processes to maintain accuracy and quality in deliverables.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Civil Engineer 1 staff as appropriate.
- Actively engage in continuing education to deepen technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends.
- Utilize advanced engineering software tools, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu, to support project designs.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2 years of relevant engineering experience, including exposure to project design and execution.
- Proficient with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and applicable standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine tasks with guidance on complex assignments.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Possesses Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The position primarily operates in an office environment with frequent travel to project sites, client meetings, and industry events.
