What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager - Event Structures position at Arena Event Services?
🔧 Building the Infrastructure Behind Iconic Events
At Arena, we don’t just sell services — we help create the physical environments behind some of the world’s most iconic events. From Formula 1 and the Ryder Cup to the PGA Tour, our teams design, deliver, and install event structures that transform spaces into unforgettable experiences.
As an Account Manager at Arena, your work goes beyond traditional sales. You’ll be deeply connected to how events come to life, partnering with clients and internal teams to turn ideas into real‑world solutions on a global stage.
🎯 Your Role in Delivering Live Event Environments
If you thrive at the intersection of client relationships, project execution, and commercial strategy, this role is for you. As an Account Manager – Event Structures, you’ll own client relationships end‑to‑end — from early conversations and proposals through project delivery and long‑term account growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing complex, project‑based work, collaborating across departments, and serving as the central link between client vision and execution. Your ability to guide clients through the event lifecycle will directly impact the success of high‑profile, time‑sensitive projects.
🏗️ How You’ll Drive Event Projects from Concept to Completion
In this role, you’ll act as both client advocate and internal coordinator, ensuring projects are sold thoughtfully and delivered seamlessly. You will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, owning relationships from initial engagement through project completion
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s goals, timelines, and event requirements
- Manage the full sales cycle within assigned accounts, including opportunity identification, solution development, proposals, pricing, and contract execution
- Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, and Finance teams to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project handoff
- Stay engaged throughout project execution, maintaining proactive communication and managing expectations
- Address client questions, changes, or challenges quickly to protect timelines and relationships
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through repeat work, upselling, and cross‑selling
- Represent Arena at client meetings, site walks, industry events, and trade shows as needed
🧰 The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring On‑Site
We’re looking for a client‑focused professional who is comfortable managing complexity and thrives in a fast‑moving, project‑based environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or a related role
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines at once
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence working directly with clients
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance client needs and internal capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
⭐ Industry Experience That Gives You an Edge
- Background in event services, construction, temporary structures, or project‑based environments
- Experience working within a CRM and managing sales pipelines
- Demonstrated success partnering cross‑functionally to deliver complex or time‑sensitive projects
