Journeyman Plumber

Pay Range: $62,000 – $87,000 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support our commercial and industrial projects through high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on plumbing experience who takes pride in craftsmanship, values safety, and is looking for long-term stability with a growing contractor.

Our Journeyman Plumbers play a key role in delivering reliable systems, maintaining project schedules, and upholding our reputation for quality work.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install piping systems, including water, sanitary, gas, and process piping
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly
• Follow company safety policies and job site procedures
  
  
  

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Understanding of local and state plumbing codes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Commercial and industrial plumbing experience
• Experience with mechanical systems and coordination with other trades
• Experience working on new construction and renovation projects
• OSHA training or safety certifications
