Core Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial and industrial job sites
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members
- Install, maintain, and oversee plumbing systems including water, sanitary, gas, and process piping
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, other foremen, and subcontractors
- Track job progress, labor hours, and material usage
- Mentor and train apprentice and journeyman plumbers
- Enforce company safety policies and job site procedures
- Journeyman Plumber license (Foreman or Master license preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing systems
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and job site safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience as a plumbing foreman or lead plumber
- Experience managing crews on commercial or industrial projects
- Familiarity with project scheduling, productivity tracking, and material coordination
- OSHA training or additional safety certifications
