Foreman Plumber

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Foreman Plumber to lead and support our commercial and industrial plumbing projects through hands-on supervision, coordination, and quality control. This role is ideal for a skilled plumber with leadership experience who can manage crews, maintain productivity, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.

The Foreman Plumber plays a critical role in coordinating field operations, mentoring team members, and serving as a key link between the field and project management.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial and industrial job sites
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members
• Install, maintain, and oversee plumbing systems including water, sanitary, gas, and process piping
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules
• Ensure work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Coordinate with project managers, other foremen, and subcontractors
• Track job progress, labor hours, and material usage
• Mentor and train apprentice and journeyman plumbers
• Enforce company safety policies and job site procedures
  
  
  

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Journeyman Plumber license (Foreman or Master license preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing systems
• Proven leadership and crew management skills
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and job site safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a plumbing foreman or lead plumber
• Experience managing crews on commercial or industrial projects
• Familiarity with project scheduling, productivity tracking, and material coordination
• OSHA training or additional safety certifications
