About the Role

While this role involves assembly and some inspection, we are specifically looking for a "soldering pro"—someone who takes pride in their benchwork and has a steady hand for intricate surface mount assemblies. Because we value craftsmanship, a hands-on soldering test is a key part of our interview process.
Compensation & Location
- Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Location: Concord, NH
- Status: Temp-to-Perm (A great way to get your foot in the door and prove your skills!)
What You’ll Do
- Precision Assembly: Build, test, and refine electronic subassemblies and systems by following production drawings, work orders, and sample assemblies.
- Soldering & Rework: Perform high-level soldering and rework on surface mount (SMT) components, ensuring every joint meets IPC-610 workmanship standards.
- Technical Processes: Execute intermediate tasks including potting, encapsulating, epoxy bonding, and color-coding to ensure product durability.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct real-time "go/no-go" testing and inspections using microscopes and electronic test equipment to ensure every unit is built to print.
- Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of specialized equipment, from soldering irons and hot plates to glue dispensing systems and water test tanks.
What You Bring
- Technical Expertise: 1–2 years of experience in electronic assembly and inspection is preferred.
- Soldering Skills: Strong familiarity with SMT components and the ability to pass a practical soldering test.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to IPC-610 standards and the ability to comprehend complex written and oral instructions.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with tuning electronic components is a huge plus!
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to work with hand tools, microscopes, and precision measuring instruments.
