What you’ll do:
- Greet clients and visitors at the front desk
- Answer and redirect incoming calls
- Organize meetings, employee retention/engagement activities, and training
- Provide administrative support to HR Department
- Complete Data Entry in Microsoft Office and JWS Software
- Maintain local plant level HR files including electronic under direction of the HR Manager
- Support general business operations by providing various administrative activities as a generalist
- Assist HR Manager with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- New Hire Orientation/Onboarding Documentation
- Training covering HR Topics
- Employee Documentation
- Upload employee data
- Attendance recordkeeping
- Reports
- Assist employees with basic HR questions
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills including strong proofreading skills and / or presentation
- Experience maintaining physical and digital files, folders, calendars, etc.
- Ability to communicate and work with and support others in a teamwork environment
- Follow and execute company policies and procedures
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Regular, dependable attendance to ensure job responsibilities and company expectations are met
