We're seeking an HR Generalist to join our team with primary responsibility for end-to-end recruitment while providing essential HR business partner support. This role is ideal for someone who excels at talent acquisition and enjoys the people side of HR.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned departments, from job posting through offer negotiation and onboarding coordination
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill or frequently hired positions
  • Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status and time-to-fill
  • Manage and maintain the ATS


HR Business Partner Support:

  • Support performance review cycles by tracking completion, sending reminders, and compiling documentation
  • Administer and maintain leave of absence reports while partnering with the HR leadership team to ensure continuity and insights
  • Administer engagement surveys, analyze results, and create actionable reports with recommendations for leadership and department heads
  • Identify learning and development needs through focus groups, stay interviews, and performance data
  • Support the rollout of engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, employee resource groups, or wellness activities
  • Translate HR data into meaningful insights and trends to inform strategic workforce planning
  • Conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and provide retention insights to HR leadership
  • Coordinate and promote L&D opportunities including training programs, lunch-and-learns, mentorship initiatives, and professional development resources
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards for leadership review


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 years of HR experience with demonstrated recruitment expertise
  • Hybrid work schedule, must be willing to come into our downtown Houston office
  • Experience in a start-up company
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
  • Knowledge of engagement survey tools and methodologies
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and HR technology platforms
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
