Job Summary
As an Entry-Level QA Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and senior QA professionals—to uphold the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve testing new features, identifying and documenting bugs, writing automated tests and contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web-based applications
- Review and analyze software requirements and technical specifications
- Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira. Mantis)
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
- Document test results and contribute to process improvements
- Acquire and apply financial domain knowledge relevant to the software
- Work with product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Participate in system-level and end-to-end testing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Foundational knowledge of software development life cycle and QA methodologies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with testing SaaS platforms, APIs, databases, or analytics tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial, accounting, or investment software systems
- Familiarity with QA tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and test management platforms.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
