Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Orderport & Toast, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
- Provide attentive table service, ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS or cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, serving, and catering duties during events like banquets or weddings
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing concerns proactively to enhance their experience
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Orderport or Toast for order entry and payment processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to juggle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub, banquet service or food industry environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Familiarity with hospitality concepts including serving alcohol responsibly, catering setups, brewing basics, and food industry standards
