Core Responsibilities
Product Data Governance & Lifecycle Management
- Own creation, maintenance, and revision control of part numbers, service kits, assemblies, and related metadata across ERP and PDM systems.
- Ensure product data changes are processed accurately and distributed to relevant business units.
- Maintain structured documentation, drawings, and specifications to support service and operational workflows.
- Manage data inputs for new product releases and updates that affect serviceability, field maintenance, or install requirements.
- Support the scheduling and coordination mechanisms for field activities by ensuring product data tied to service tasks is current and aligned with operational plans.
- Track incoming service requests through internal communication channels (email queues, call logs) and route product-specific issues to the appropriate technical owners.
- Provide product data support for field technicians, contractors, and service managers needing part identification or documentation.
- Partner with sales to generate accurate quote data by ensuring part configurations, pricing attributes, and service BOM details are current in Business Central, E1, and STAR.
- Validate warranty-related product data for return, replacement, and corrective action processes.
- Maintain visibility into order progress by monitoring item configuration accuracy and supporting remediation when data-related discrepancies arise.
- Partner with engineering to collect, interpret, and incorporate technical updates (drawings, specs, service instructions).
- Coordinate with purchasing to validate supplier part details, lead times, and material changes impacting product data.
- Act as a connector between service operations, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure data readiness for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Use Excel and Microsoft 365 tools to evaluate cost structures, margins, and service-related product performance.
- Support management by providing structured data views and basic reporting to inform decisions tied to cost accuracy, product setup, and service efficiency.

- Hands-on experience with ERP or PDM environments (E1, Business Central preferred).
- Strong Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage parallel tasks, shifting priorities, and multiple data inputs.
- Understanding of service operations, order flows, and cost-tracking concepts.
- Experience supporting field service, maintenance, or installation operations.
- Exposure to manufacturing data structures or physical security/barrier systems.
- Familiarity with job-costing or P&L-related data analysis.
