Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Coordination
- Lead daily jobsite operations, ensuring clear communication across subcontractors, inspectors, designers, and clients.
- Maintain site schedules, logistics plans, and documentation with an eye toward consistency and repeatability.
- Conduct site meetings, setting expectations and modeling the culture we aim to build.
- Uphold design intent through hands-on review of drawings, details, and assemblies.
- Champion quality control and precision, ensuring that craftsmanship aligns with our studio standards.
- Partner with design and PM teams to resolve constructability challenges proactively.
- Own jobsite safety culture—leading by example, running toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with codes and inspections.
- Support the development of scalable safety protocols as our team grows.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine construction systems, including workflows, checklists, scheduling templates, communication norms, and quality standards.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements that create predictability and operational excellence.
- Help define what a high-performing construction department looks like—not just for today’s projects, but for the organization we’re building.
- Mentor field staff and emerging leaders; contribute to a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous learning.
- Embody the values and behaviors that will form the backbone of our future construction leadership team.
- Play an active role in shaping organizational culture as we scale.
- 5 years supervising construction sites—ideally in design/build, high-end residential, hospitality, or design-forward commercial work.
- Strong blueprint and detailing expertise; passion for craftsmanship and design execution.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades in complex, detail-oriented builds.
- Demonstrated ability to influence culture, guide teams, or develop systems/processes.
- Proficiency with digital construction tools (Procore, ProjectSight, Monday.com).
- Strong communicator who leads with clarity, presence, and humility.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ambition to grow with a studio that values leadership from within.
- Preferred bi-lingual (english & spanish)
