We are seeking a Senior Architect / Project Architect to take a leading role within the studio. This position is intended for an architect with deep experience delivering complex buildings in Los Angeles and Southern California, who is comfortable navigating local codes, agency review processes, and the realities of building in this region.

This role requires the ability to direct others, sketch and communicate details clearly, and ensure that design intent is translated into precise, buildable documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex architectural projects from design development through construction documentation and construction administration.
- Direct and mentor project teams by providing clear instructions, redlines, and sketch details for others to execute in Revit.
- Develop, detail, and coordinate architectural systems for Type I buildings, including structure, envelope, life-safety, vertical circulation, and MEP integration.
- Oversee drawing quality, coordination, and consistency across large and multi-consultant drawing sets.
- Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, civil, façade, and specialty consultants.
- Manage and support permit submittals and agency reviews with Los Angeles–area AHJs and jurisdictions across Southern California.
- Review RFIs, submittals, and construction issues, ensuring alignment with design intent, code requirements, and constructability.
- Contribute to internal standards, detailing approaches, and technical workflows within the office.
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Demonstrated experience delivering Type I construction projects
- Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, or large-scale residential projects
- Proven track record working with Los Angeles and Southern California jurisdictions, codes, and permitting processes
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including managing and overseeing large drawing sets
- Strong detailing skills, with the ability to sketch and clearly communicate architectural intent
- Experience coordinating complex consultant teams and resolving technical issues
- Strong technical judgment, organization, and leadership presence
- Clear, direct communication style and comfort providing direction and making decisions
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
- Korean language skills preferred but not required
