🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Perform redlining of data center drawings including:
- Rack elevations
- Floor layouts
- Cable pathways (ladder rack, tray, conduit)
- Trace and document A-to-B cable connectivity (fiber and copper)
- Update:
- Patch panel port assignments
- Switch connections
- Rack/unit (U) positions
- Identify and correct:
- Labeling discrepancies
- Missing or undocumented cabling
- Mark adds, moves, and changes (MAC work) clearly on drawings
- Work closely with:
- Field technicians
- Project managers
- Engineering/CAD teams
- Capture field data using:
- Markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)
- Spreadsheets and cable schedules
- Provide clean, organized redlines for as-built conversion
