Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians with a strong focus on cable pulling and installation to support large-scale data center projects. This role is hands-on and requires working in fast-paced environments installing and routing structured cabling systems.
Key Responsibilities
Pull, route, and secure copper (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A) and fiber optic cables throughout the data center
Install cabling pathways including ladder racks, J-hooks, cable trays, and conduits
Assist with dressing, labeling, and organizing cables according to project standards
Follow cable routing diagrams, blueprints, and redlines
Support rack and stack activities as needed
Maintain proper bend radius and cable integrity during installs
Work safely at heights using ladders and lifts when required
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety protocols and site requirements
Required Qualifications
1 years of experience in structured cabling or data center environments
Hands-on experience with cable pulling (fiber and/or copper)
Ability to read and interpret prints, layouts, and cable schedules
Comfortable working in active construction environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data centers or large commercial projects
Knowledge of TIA/EIA cabling standards
Experience with terminations (fiber or copper)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Familiarity with testing tools (Fluke, OTDR) is a plus
