Job Opening at Immaculate Conception Regional School
A (.35 FTE/ two days per week) Counselor position for the 2026-2027 school year is available at Immaculate Conception Regional School in Mt. Vernon.
This school counselor will support our students' social and emotional growth.
Requirements: Master's degree in school counseling or related field with ESA certification. Candidates who are Catholic and have counseling experience are preferred.

Other Qualifications
The range for this position is $20,000-. $27,000, based on the ICRS salary scale for certificated staff. Salary is determine based on internal equity, prior relevant experience, and education. Sick leave is offered in accordance with the WA Sick plan. Health and welfare benefits are not offered for this part-time position.

Other Qualifications
- Has understanding and training for comprehensive school counseling programing, such as the ASCA model.
- Counsel students in individual and small-group settings to provide social and emotional learning, assist with goal setting, and facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, in line with Catholic faith and morals.
- Assist with student mental health needs and aid teachers, students, and parents in seeking other community and professional resources.
- Provide crisis response when students and parents need support navigating emergency situations.
- Support teachers in the implementation of the SEL Top20 curriculum and with ICRS's PBIS program (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports).
- Conduct observations of students' interactions in the classroom and playground setting.
- Ensure professional conduct, including confidentiality, at all times.
