Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events from concept through completion.
- Manage event logistics, vendors, contracts, and timelines.
- Coordinate Confirmation celebrations and volunteer support.
- Oversee event setup, guest registration, and on-site operations.
- Collaborate with ministries, staff, vendors, and community partners.
- Support marketing, communications, and hospitality initiatives.
- Monitor event budgets and expenses to ensure financial stewardship and accountability.
- Create a welcoming and professional experience for all guests and participants.
- Build relationships with community organizations and outreach partners.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
- This role has a work schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of event planning, hospitality, or related experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, volunteers, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
