Job Description:
The Music Minister/Director is responsible for formulating the parish music program, planning music for all parish liturgical functions, and supervising all music personnel whether paid or volunteer. They will be responsible for the parish music budget, preparing and teaching congregation new music, and engaging supplementary musicians for special occasions and substitutions. The Music Minister/Director will also approve music and play for weddings and funerals, be responsible for parish instruments and sound equipment used by the music ministry, and develop a parish choir(s). They will maintain an office presence and interact regularly with the parish staff during the week, as well as attend all staff meetings.
