The Accounting Intern is responsible for basic accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Assist with quarter-end closing and reporting.
- Prepare various monthly journal entries.
- Complete various account reconciliations (clearing, prepaid, accrued liabilities, etc.).
- Compile intercompany account documentation and reconciliation between subsidiaries.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statements for subsidiaries.
Education:
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, required
- Completion of Intermediate Accounting I and at least one other junior level class, preferred
- No prior experience necessary
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required

Work Hours:
- This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is a hourly position paid weekly.
